ВАЖКІ МЕТАЛИ: НАДХОДЖЕННЯ, ТОКСИЧНІСТЬ І ЗАХИСНІ МЕХАНІЗМИ РОСЛИН (НА ПРИКЛАДІ ІОНІВ КАДМІЮ)

Розглянуто питання забруднення навколишнього середовища важкими металами (ВМ), основна увага приділяється іонам кадмію, як одного з найбільш токсичних для рослин елементів. Наводяться відомості про накопичення ВМ у ґрунті, надходження у рослини і вплив на різні фізіологічні процеси (фотосинтез, дихання, транспірація, водний режим). Розглядаються деякі аспекти детоксикації ВМ, їх впливу на антиоксидантну систему рослин, у тому числі на накопичення низькомолекулярних поліфенольних біоантиоксидантів.
